Nigel Dean If you are familiar with the kit car scene you will have heard of Kit Car magazine’s Technical Editor, Nigel Dean. Apart from writing for national and international publications, Nigel is renowned for handcrafting some of the most amazing show cars this specialist industry has to offer. His last project culminated in a concours nitrous injected Tojeiro, capable of producing a barmy 500 bhp plus! However, D J Sportscars is now proud to announce Nigel has selected the Tojeiro’s stablemate, the Rush De-Dion V8, for his next project. Working extensively with Nigel (who demands only the best), we have helped him select the highest specification components possible and in addition have developed a few modifications to accommodate his unique approach. As for the powerplant and transmission, this has been handcrafted by one of the country’s leading V8 specialists, RPi Engineering, and promises to deliver exceptional performance. Nigel’s mega-build is currently being covered in Kit Car magazine on a monthly basis. To complement this coverage, Nigel has also developed his own website where you can find regular additional updates - see link below. When complete you will be able to view video footage of the Rush being put through its paces on the rolling road. Once optimally tuned, further footage and on-board telemetry will be posted on the site as Nigel gets behind the wheel of his leviathan and demonstrates its true potential.
