DAX Easter Bonanza
DJ Sportscars International Ltd are still recovering from their recent Open Day on Good Friday. It’s become something of a tradition for fans of the long established marque to make their annual pilgrimage to the company’s Harlow factory, and this year saw a bigger turnout than ever.
DJ managing director Brian Johns said: "I’m always amazed at the good attendances at our open day but am especially pleased this year and I don’t think I’ve ever seen so many cars and people turn up."
Anybody wanting to gain access to Edinburgh Place on Good Friday would have found their way barred by squadrons of DJ’s main models, the Rush and the DAX 427 Cobra replica, with neat rows of shiny owners’ cars on either side of the road. "It’s always great to see so many owners and their cars and they do a great job helping to sell the products for us" says Brian.
General public attendance was also good, with many potential customers checking out what DJ Sportscars have to offer. The company adopt an open door policy at their open days and so members of the public can wander around the fibreglass shop and inspect moulds and generally be nosy, while they can also see how a chassis is made in the fabrication department. Then of course they can check out the quality of the company demonstrators.
