DAX drivers are invited to home in on Harlow
January 27, 2000
DAX drivers from all over the UK - and even from further afield -
are being invited to visit the marque's Harlow, Essex factory on Good Friday,
21 April, in a repeat of last year's successful Easter Open Day.
For
many, it will be this first chance to see the new DAX Tojeiro demonstrator, A
427 DAX, and the event will mark the debut of the red DAX Rush De Dion LX which
is being featured in a series of build articles on the DAX web-site at
http://www.daxcars.co.uk.
More
than 50 cars and their owner-builders were guests of DJ Sportscars
International at last year's Open Day - held to celebrate the Harlow-designed
and built component cars which are now widely regarded as a classics in their
own right. The event was hosted by three generations of the Johns family;
Managing Director Brian and his wife Pamela, Marketing Director Simon and his
wife Karen, and the latest addition to their range - baby Max.
"The
event was such a huge success, with owners even coming from overseas, that we
had no alternative but to do it again," said DJ Managing Director Brian Johns.
This year we will be pulling out all the stops to put on an even bigger and
better show.
"I would like to thank all the DAX owners who turned out
and made the day such a success last year and I hope we will see them all back
again," said Brian. "As always, it is their cars which are the true stars of
the show and the best illustration of the sort of quality which can be achieved
with our kits."
