Revived rapid Rush
previews side impact protection
DJ has something of a reputation for
producing blindingly fast demonstrators
..none more so than the legendary
Blackn.
This spectacular 340bhp Cosworth-powered DAX
Rush IRS may have dropped out of sight for a couple of years, but its
back now - and back with a vengeance as probably the ultimate spec. 2-w-d
square-tube Rush.
It does, however, have a surprise up its sleeve. Or,
more accurately, alongside the drivers and passengers
sleeves
..side impact protection bars. They can be ordered with any new
Rush chassis for £245 per side plus vat, which includes the provision of
all required chassis mounting brackets.
Digital pictures of the
Blackn with its side impact bars can be viewed at and
downloaded from the World Wide Web at

European
growth boosts DAX Tojeiro sales
Essex-based DJ is selling more of
its classic DAX Tojeiro model to continental Europe than ever before.
There is definitely a cult following for the Tojeiro building up
on the continent, just as there has been for many years in the UK, said
DJ Marketing Director Simon Johns. So far this year we have sold some 45
Tojeiros, and no less than 15 of them have gone overseas.
This
year has seen a steady stream of orders from DJs European agents, with
long-established German agents Cn Fahrzeugbau of Dormagen leading the
way.
DAX sales success at sunny Stoneleigh show
DJ
enjoyed its best ever National Kit-Car Show at Stoneleigh,
Warwickshire on 6th and 7th May. The company accepted firm orders for five
cars, with even more sales to follow from a host of serious enquiries.
Two of the deposits were placed for motorcycle-engined DAX Rush cars
and, as expected, the prototype turbo-Hayabusa-powered DAX Rush Lightweight was
the undisputed star of the show. The black and aluminium car with its 350 bhp
Jack Frost-developed engine only weighs around 400kg and is probably the
quickest car on the road in the UK.
This was our best show
ever, said DJ Managing Director Brian Johns. Not only did we take
orders for two motorcycle-engined cars, but also for one conventional DAX Rush
and two DAX Tojeiros.
Outside the exhibition halls, The DAX Rush
Owners Club was also enjoying success. With more than 20 cars on show on the
Monday - and more than 30 over the two days - it was the clubs biggest
every national gathering.

Stoneleigh can be viewed at and downloaded from the World Wide Web at
