Fully SVA Compliant The DAX Rush - a lightweight, performance oriented two-seater manufactured with precision and care, but using proven and easily obtainable Ford components that make it extremely economical both to build and maintain.

The Rush offers more interior space than any of its competitors and has been designed to accept a wide variety of engines from Ford's OHC/DOHC and V8 ranges to the explosive power of the Sierra Cosworth Turbo or Rover V8.

The chassis is multi-tubed triangulated steel space frame design offered in a live rear axle or fully independent form, the body is built from composite reinforced moulded fibreglass with the option of aluminium side panels and bonnet.

 

The DAX Rush - Car engine format(engine option 4cyl - V8s), is available in De Dion (main Price List), IRS & 4 x 4 (Quadra)(Price list supplement). All use Sierra 'running gear', the 4 x4 specifically uses Sierra Cosworth 4 x 4 'running gear'

The DAX Rush - RUSH MC ~ Motorcycle engine format is only available as a De Dion set up ~ several engine options available.

However !!! the chassis is available in either a light weight square tube or round tube. The round tube version has the Camber Compensation ~ Anti-Roll system as is only available as a ROLLING CHASSIS.

The long-wheelbase version of the DAX Rush has an extra three inches of length in the cockpit area. This may not sound much but, combined with a lowered floor pan, it makes the lwb Rush accessible to people who thought they would never be able to fit into this type of car. In fact, it can be driven comfortably by people of well over six feet tall.

Visit us at Harlow or one of the shows and you can try our new long-wheelbase DAX Rush demonstrator for size. With this car we feature the popular Vauxhall 16-valve engine for the first time in a factory-built Rush. A number of customers have expressed interest in the Vauxhall engine, which is a popular alternative in this class of car, so we have taken the opportunity to develop a mounting system.

We think it's a fabulous looking car, but you'll need to book a test ride to find out that it goes just as well as it looks.
